The client had two goals: redesign a user-friendly website and web app flows for caregivers to search for jobs and employers to post job vacancies. Challenges included fluctuating design requirements, which I addressed through rapid sketching as an alignment tool. Second, the website had to be designed in 2 days, which improved my efficiency and prioritization skills. Third, the work needed healthcare regulatory compliance. Moreover, the onboarding rate for the redesigned applicant workflow needed to be improved by 46%.

After analyzing the first version onboarding flow, I identified several issues to address. These included the lack of hierarchy, progressive disclosure to track user progress, and clear information architecture. Additionally, the flow lacked accessibility and consistent visual design and branding.

In some instances, I was able to create low-fidelity wireframes for UX alignment. In others, I had to quickly transition from ideation to finalized design. In terms of tracking the success of my work, I had no access to metrics upon fulfilling contract terms. While I advocated for investment in user experience and cohesive rebranding prior to the end of my contract, the client ceased operations in 2022.
